Ministry Partners

Church & Ministry Collaboration

I collaborate with churches and ministries to provide Christian, faith-based therapy, integrated with powerful Spirit-led therapeutic techniques. I aim to narrow the gap between the therapist and the church. There is a need for therapy ministry to partner alongside the church and provide a variety of resources related to the mental health needs of church members. It is crucial that we work together.

It is vitally important for ministers to know when to refer someone for professional help. Depending on the problem, if people do not get the help they need, they can make devastating choices that turn their lives upside down. Those choices can ruin marriages, families, careers, cause them to get into financial and legal trouble, become a danger to themselves and others, or commit suicide.

Frequently pastors see people in their office who are seeking help. Some of these people need professional therapy beyond the scope of a pastor’s training. There is no shame in referring someone whose problems are beyond the scope of the pastor’s expertise. One person cannot be every part of the Body of Christ. Each part of the body has a specific purpose. I can provide both professional assessment and treatment. As a ministry partner, I believe we can work together.

As a ministry partner I can provide:

$
A therapy referral source: For those times when ministers are approached for counseling someone who may have serious mental health issues that require professional assistance, you can refer them to me in full confidence that they will receive sound professional and biblical instruction.
$
Provide the highest level of biblical, theological, clinical, and scientific knowledge and training possible in the therapeutic process. All the concepts applied in therapy align with Scripture. As a result, nothing done or communicated in therapy will conflict with God’s word.
$
A therapy referral source for church staff who may be in need of professional therapy. Ministers and their families are not excluded from the stress and challenges of life. Often Ministers and their families are the ones who suffer most from relationship issues, burnout/fatigue, work/life balance and other difficulties, but feel like they have no one they can turn to. I can provide a confidential location for personal guidance or provide an online distance therapy program.
$
Therapy services provided with the mindset of: encouraging each other, building each other up in Christ, bearing with one another, carrying each other’s burdens, praying for each other, and loving each other as Christ taught. (Ephesians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; Galatians 6:2; James 3:17 – 18; James 5:16; John 15:12,13; Colossians 3:12-14).
$
Support for the church in fulfilling its calling to be the primary provider of soul care and a Christian community.
$
A quiet restorative place to receive biblical therapy and insight into life’s challenges.
$
Resources for churches and their staff for the more difficult issues that Christians face but are often challenging to address in the church such as: abuse, sexual trauma, unrelenting depression, couples conflict, infidelity, etc.

Divine Therapy is now providing resources to Ministers and their staff. Feel free to look at these articles.
